*** SOLD OUT - THANK YOU !!!

MOTT THE HOOPLE 2019 UK TOUR REPORT!!!
SOLO CONCERT AND TALK SHOW BY MORGAN FISHER
Open: 6:30pm, Starts 7:00pm, in Morgan Salon

*** So many great stories, so we could only cover the US tour at the June 1st Report event. This time, we'll present the UK adventures! And this time too will be a BLAST!
*** Seats are available, but we sold out quickly last time - best to book soon!

Tokyo-based British keyboardist Morgan Fisher (Mott the Hoople, Queen, Yoko Ono, etc.) recently returned from sold-out tours by Mott the Hoople '74 - the 1974 post-Bowie/Dudes lineup. In April the band toured the US/UK for the first time since 1974, garnering amazing reviews everywhere they performed. Original members Ian Hunter (vocal, gtr, piano), Ariel Bender (gtr) and Morgan Fisher (piano) were joined by members of Ian’s Rant Band. They mainly played songs from their last studio album “The Hoople” (some never performed live) as well other hits and rare tracks. The audience response and media reviews were nothing short of ecstatic.

As a special report of the tours, for Mott lovers in Japan who couldn't make it to the UK, Morgan will play a solo concert in the intimate surroundings of his own Morgan Salon home studio.

Mott songs will of course be featured, and Morgan will talk about his career with Mott then and now. The unique feature of this event is that Morgan will show rare videos of the band performing on these tours. Also, like he did in 1974 when he shot 8mm film of the band offstage, he will show his "road videos," now shot on HD video, of the band soundchecking, travelling, and generally having fun together on this amazing tour.

The "famous friends" shown in the image above-right are, from left to right: JOE ELLIOTT (DEF LEPPARD), BRIAN MAY (QUEEN), BOBBY GILLESPIE (PRIMAL SCREAM), LISA RONSON (Mick Ronson's daughter), MICK JONES (THE CLASH), JOHN FIDDLER (MEDICINE HEAD, BRITISH LIONS). They all hung out with Mott during these tours, and Brian and Joe joined Mott onstage in London. Video/photo evidence will be shown!

A great night for celebrating the only band David Bowie produced apart from Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. Bowie composed Mott’s biggest hit in 1972, the classic “ All The Young Dudes”, which along with several other memorable hits ensures that their appeal is still ongoing and relevant. Also, Morgan is very hopeful that Mott will at some point extend their reunion tour to Japan, Australia and the West Coast of the USA!

Entry is 3000 yen with reservation, 3500 without reservation, payable at the door.
Complimentary WINE, tea, juice and snacks will be served in the interval.
